Singer/songwriter Andrew Bird has partnered up with gun safety group, Everytown for Gun Safety, and actress/director, Natalie Morales, to release the video for "Pulaski." It follows around a young boy who goes to school, practices a lockdown drill in class, and then walks home. The boy seems to be extremely calm and at ease throughout the entire video which shows how gun violence has become such a regular part of life. He goes through the lock down drill like a regular motion, almost numb. It has unfortunately become an expected part of our routine.

Bird's song, "Pulaski," focuses on Chicago, who is on track to record more homicides than it ever had in more than a decade. The vast majority of the city's homicides are gun homicides. Bird has continuously been an active member in the anti-gun violence community and has based a majority of his latest album, Are You Serious, around that, donating $1 of every ticket sold on tour to Everytown. Thank you to Bird, Morales, and the team at Everytown for working towards a safer world.
