Montreal's Stars keep it romantic on their new single "The Light" released off a two-song EP recorded at the same time as their latest full-length, The North. Torquil Campbell's soothing vocals accompanied by Amy Millan's emotional croon is chill-inducing, while the lyrics stay close to home for Stars by recalling the first warm day of spring and lost love. "The Light" offers up a deep, dark electronic beat balancing the song between upbeat and ballad. The intertwining of themes like death, love, and helplessness makes this song a perfect addition to your heartbreak playlist. Stars keep their fans bewitched with this new single and continue their tour around the USA, hopefully adding "The Light" to their setlist.
