Here's a Baeble Bae Alert that has been, for some reason, long overdue. Harry Styles
, otherwise known as former One Direction member as well as actor and critically acclaimed solo artist. He's got a classic sense of style (it's so notable, his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift even wrote an entire song about it
), he's handsome, charming, and just downright talented, not just as a singer in a boy band, but as a writer of that sweet rock ‘n' roll. In fact, I'm listening to his self-titled debut album as I write this and I can't help but get distracted by his angelic voice. Seriously, I'm melting in my seat right now.
Our boy has been through a lot of phases. First, there was this:
At the time when he first auditioned for X Factor
, Styles was just 16 years old! And despite his young age, he nailed his cover of "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder. Sure, maybe we weren't crushing on him because he was a wee baby, but there's no doubt that he showcased a huge amount of talent from the very start.
Then of course after this, the whole One Direction thing happened, where the group gave a ton of great performances (I was never a 1D fan, but I always thought Harry was the star of the show).
Such a classic Brit boy with that blazer/sweater combo. *Heart eyes*.
Oh yeah, and he also starred in the Christopher Nolan-directed Dunkirk
, aka one of the best films to come out this year. I saw it and nearly cried. Finally, Harry showed another side of himself. He's not just an attractive singer, he's also a serious actor who made his acting debut with what is probably one of the most challenging roles.
And yeah, the movie makes him emotional, too. Who doesn't love a sensitive man? He's grown up to be such an intellectual, I can hear him talk about his art all day long.
How can someone be so rocker chic and sophisticated at the same time?!
And then just when you thought it couldn't get any better, he cut his hair...
Okay, a round of applause for the new 'do.
And of course, his solo album is so good and, once again, so damn sophisticated. Calling Harry a superhero isn't even too far fetched, because he literally flies in his video for "Sign Of The Times":
Oh, and most importantly, his Instagram aesthetic is out of this world:
Totally killing it with the caption-less black and white photos. We love a man of mystery.
Let me just leave you here with this: there's a reason why his last name is Styles.
