Unknown Mortal Orchestra Tackle The Dizzying Oversaturation of Information In The Modern Age

I went to see El Topo at IFC a couple months back. If you've never seen it, it's one of the most famous psychedelic films ever made by one of psychedelic cinema's most well-known figures, Alejandro Jodorowsky. Between El Topo and The Holy Mountain, if you have LSD and need to keep yourself entertained and confused for a couple hours, Jodorowsky will do the trick. And I can't help but note the manic, give no f***s spirit of Jodorowsky shining through in the video for "Can't Keep Checking My Phone" from Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

UMO's Multi-Love was one of the most bold and ambitious records of the year, and it continued to place UMO as one of the premiere acts working in psychedelia today (and music more generally) and UMO tackles the disorientation and information over-saturation of the modern age in the dizzying video for "Can't Keep Checking My Phone."
