Last we saw of Gary Numan, he was helping out Battles by picking up a mic on a few tracks and even starring in their escalator nightmare video, "My Machines". Now, Numan is back with another nightmare-inducing video, "The Fall," off of his new album Dead Son Rising, out now. The song features Numan's signature synthpop with morbid, gothic overtones with the visuals to match. The creep factor is high as Numan is chasing, or being chased by, a faceless, pose-happy weirdo through an abandoned wasteland. It's not exactly the happiest looking video we've seen lately, but because of its startling imagery, it might be the most affecting of the week. Oh, and you might want to watch it with the lights on.

Kinda NSFW, because British 1980s synth-rock Rob Zombie.
