Time to bust out the black light posters, lava lamps, and those special "vases" you don't want your mom to know about for a retro-week of late night music on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon
. The Shins, MGMT, Foo Fighters, and Pearl Jam are all stopping by next week to pay tribute to the gods of psychedelic rock, Pink Floyd
. Pull up a beanbag!
The bands all plan on dusting off gems from Floyd's back catalogue for a newer audience, so expect some creative liberties. Members Nick Mason and Roger Waters will also be stopping by to talk to Fallon about the band's legacy and the upcoming extensive reissue of their classic albums coming out 9/26. If at any point during the week you see some flying pigs, don't bug out, man*. That's just how Floyd does it.
Here's the schedule and set-list for your viewing pleasure:
9/26 - The Shins - "Breathe"
9/27 - Foo Fighters ft. Roger Waters - "In The Flesh"
9/28 - MGMT - "Lucifer Sam"
9/29 - Dierks Bentley - "Wish You Were Here"
9/30 - Pearl Jam - "Mother"
*Note: If you see flying pigs and they're not on television, it may be time to put down that vase.
