might not be a household name yet, but the Nashville trio has us hooked with their gritty southern rock sound, which reminds us a little of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, but with more power and passion behind every riff and lyric sung.
The band's new single, "Vacation," is adventurous, raw, and ready to simmer in speakers for those who gravitate toward rock music you can feel to the bone.
"Vacation" is the first single from our new album, but it was actually conceived a few years back inside a tiny sheet-metal rehearsal space in the ghetto of East Nashville," Jason Denton says. "The song was born out of an awkward, angular guitar riff that me and our drummer Nathan were jamming on late at night. At the time, I was in a tiff with an ex girlfriendduring the song's intro, our guitar player Ryan is mimicking a voicemail she left me. In the end, I think the song retains its gritty, energetic center but channels an era when rock was a bit more professional."
