Video Of The Day: The Rolling Stones and The Grateful Dead

Yesterday we stumbled across this rare footage of Mick, Charlie and presumably the rest of the December 1969 Stones as they rubbed elbows with Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead on one of the piers off the Embarcardero in San Francisco, waiting for a helicopter ride to the Altamont Festival (yes THAT Altamont Festival). The guys are just messing around, but it's kind of an awesome look at a very specific moment in the past that we just had to share.

Bonus points if you can name the guys who enter at the 0:34 mark.

Later they performed "Gimme Shelter", you've probably heard of it.
