There's nothing more riveting than the desperation and passion conveyed in Suzanne Santo's voice, and in her live rendition of "Handshake," it's downright heartbreaking. "I'm not your friend, babe, I don't want a handshake / I need a piece, I need a taste," she calls out, almost as if mid-tantrum. "Saddle up on this lil sound pony, recorded in Nashville this summer," Santo told Baeble when we asked for more about the song - and I guess her answer makes sense. Between her vocal delivery and the simplicity of the twangy, churning electric guitar, the song pretty much speaks for itself.

"Handshake" is the lead single off of Santo's new album Ruby Red which is out now and marks Santo's first solo release after being in the group HONEYHONEY. The video was recorded in one-take, live to tape in Nashville at Trace Horse Studios.
