Frank Turner Drenches Himself In Tar And Desperation In New Video

I'll talk about the actual video/song in a second -- cause they're great -- but, boy, rock stars have a much higher comfort level for being covered in gross liquids than I do. I know I've hit on this before, but I have mildly severe OCD about being "dirty" and if I got covered in whatever thick, oily substance Frank Turner (and the video's female model) get drenched in, I'd have a mild panic attack. Back to the music.

We don't talk enough about Frank Turner here in the States. His particular blend of folk, punk, and pop hooks positions him in a realm where there isn't quite another act that sounds precisely like him, and a week doesn't go by where I don't blast "I Still Believe" at top volume cause that track remains fantastic. And Frank Turner released a new record this year, Positive Songs For Negative People, and we're getting a video for the record's emotional barnburner of a track, "Josephine." It's powerful and passionate stuff. Just be forewarned if you have a thing about tar cause there's a lot of it.
