    Why does every artist have to drop their album on the same day? For us listeners, it's a challenge to catch up with every new release, especially when it's several different releases from all really exciting artists. So to cut through the noise and make sure you have all of your ducks in a row, we're briefly rounding up the most important albums to listen to this week.

    1. LCD Soundsystem - american dream

    2. The Knife - Shaking the Habitual: Live at Terminal 5

    Today, The Knife released a live concert album which marks their final performance ever, at Terminal 5 in NYC. Technically, you can stream it now, but depending on where you are, it might not be available due to a dispute between the group and Brille, their label partner. Nonetheless, you can watch the live album in full on YouTube.

    3. The Pains of Being Pure At Heart - The Echo of Pleasure

    Indie rockers The Pains of Being Pure at Heart are out with their super danceable new album, which is the follow up to 2014's Days of Abandon LP and 2015's Hell EP.

    4. Mogwai - Every Country's Son

    What a stunning, stunning album we have here today from Scotland-based post-rock band, Mogwai. Brace yourself for chills, because their follow up to 2014's Rave Tapes is going to make you feel some type of way.

    5. Cloud Control - Zone

    Think Matt & Kim meets Tame Impala meets Foster The People. Zone is the Sydney, Australia band's follow up to 2013's Dream Cave.
