We are currently in the middle of one of the most terrible presidential elections of all time. After publicly stating some pretty damn racist, sexist things, Donald Trump is still in the running, and with such a publicized election comes the listeners' reaction. Whether it's in the Facebook comment sections or in a video on Youtube, the internet has been filled to the brim with memes, and one thing we found was an alarming amount of songs about Trump including parodies, serious political raps, and more. Here are our five favorites.
1. "FDT (Fuck Donald Trump)" by YG and Nipsey Hussle
Not only did YG and Nipsey Hussle deliver a great rap, but it was also accompanied by a great introduction which read, "As young people with the interest in the future of America, we have to exercise our intelligence and choose who leads us into it wisely... 2016 will be a turning point in this country's history... The question is, in which direction will it go?"
2. "HUMP TRUMP" by Jaclyn Glenn ft. TeraBrite
This parody is hilarious. Two girls singing about how much they love Trump while simultaneously bashing him and pointing out all of his flaws. And the #TBT 90s feel of the song just makes it that much better.
3. "You're A Mean One, Mr. Trump (Grinch Parody)" by College Humor
Because Trump is basically The Grinch, right?
4. "Do You Wanna Build A Wall? (Frozen Parody)"
A collage of Trump clips put together to the tune of Frozen... AMAZING. It's obviously all about building a wall. It's going to be expensive but no worries, we'll have Mexico pay for it...
5. "Barack Obama Rap Song Dissing Donald Trump"
In response to Trump calling Obama the worst president in the history of our country, this incredible parody set to the tune of Drake was released from the point of view of Obama. The singer's Obama impression is scarily accurate. "Is the world poor or your soul poor? I know you're trying to get known more but this the nonsense you got fired from 'The Apprentice' for." OOOOOOH, you tell 'em, fake Obama!
