We're excited to premiere electronic duo New York Movie's new video for "Firecracker." It's a modern, black and white video which pairs perfectly with the stirring track's gritty bass, fuzzy vocals, and soaring synths. If a firecracker actually made music, it would sound like this song.

Long time friends Austin Jones and Philip Anderson Edsel have done everything -- from writing, recording, and producing to design and photography, so their ability to cohesively maintain their dramatic aesthetic makes sense. It's evident that the duo has a clear artistic voice and the vision they set out to create about love and loss is accomplished perfectly. With influences like Peter Gabriel and M83, New York Movie's cinematic synth-rock has the potential to be the soundtrack to every high and low in your own life... Your own movie.
