Adding to the star-studded Suicide Squad soundtrack, Grimes just debuted her new song "Medieval Warfare" on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show. The track is based off an old demo of the artist's that she edited to fit the DC film.

The track is filled with extremely heavy synth and buzzing guitars, accompanied by Grimes' signature saccharine voice, almost otherworldly over the sharp beat. But of course the singer does "weird" best -- she told Lowe "I just kept getting caught up in like, do you want it more weird or more normal? So I just made the end more weird, and the beginning more normal."

Grimes joins artists such as Skrillex, Panic! At the Disco, twenty one pilots, and Eminem to name just a few on the film's soundtrack. The pressure was on, but what we've heard of the song so far sounds amazing. Speaking to Lowe while on tour on Europe, she admitted that she had watched the trailer "at least 20 or 30 times" and wept not only when she was approached about contributing a song to the film, but also through the process of finishing it! It's no wonder why Grimes is a Baeble favorite -- she's a real trooper and is absolutely the perfect addition to the Suicide Squad soundtrack.
