Father John Misty Drops Stop Motion Video For 'Things It Would Have Been Helpful To Know Before The Revolution'

    With the use of stunning stop motion, Father John Misty's new video for "Things It Would Have Been Helpful To Know Before The Revolution" follows a cartoonish character walking through the streets in a post-revolution world. "Cause there's no place for human existence like right here, on this bright blue marble orbited by trash," FJM sings, describing the world how he sees it -- or how it truly is -- as we're visually taken through this wasteland. The video is directed by Chris Hopewell and FJM is auctioning off the puppets in the video and donating proceeds to the Environmental Defense Fund. The song is off of Pure Comedy, out now.
