The Secret Sisters are Laura and Lydia Rogers, two not-so-secret sisters who specialize in old country harmonizing, and they're set to release their Jack White produced debut 45 which will feature a cover of Johnny Cash's "Big River" on one side and a cover of traditional folksong "The Wabash Cannonball" on the other.

White plays guitar on "Cannonball" (his hands are all over this thing) and Carl Broemmel from My Morning Jacket stops by to play some pedal steel. Only 150 of these singles are being pressed and the vast majority of them are being sold in Nashville so good luck getting a hold of one. If you're ambitious enough, you can go to the Third Man Records homepage and preorder it or just go to their Myspace to hear the songs. Their full-length, Silver Threads and Golden Needles is due October 5 on Universal. -ben krusling
