You Might Have Missed It, But Tove Lo Just Dropped a Short Movie

It's pretty ballsy of Tove Lo to release a short movie on the same day that Taylor Swift decides to return with an atrocious single, but I guess that's one of the things we love about Tove Lo -- her unapologetic ballsiness. And, amidst all of the new music-related things that are out today, this is by far one of the best. It's a 21 minute long short movie entitled Fire Fade, which acts as the second part to last year's controversial Fairy Dust. You know, the other clip that YouTube took down for being way too sexual, but then put back up (because no one messes with our girl Tove Lo).

Fire Fade features the songs "Don't Talk About It," "Imaginary Friend," "Keep It Simple," "Flashes," and "WTF Love Is." It is intense and intimate, as we see the pop superstar at her most vulnerable yet. She's always been an open book when it comes to sex, but this time around we see her deal with more internal conflicts. The video is mainly just her as she talks to herself and the viewers and chases around a butterfly, until the final part, during "WTF Love Is." She makes sweatpants and a super crop top look so damn good as she walks on walls like Spiderman and well, slowly starts to lose her mind. All I want to know is, why the hell wasn't Tove Lo cast as Diana in Wonder Woman?
