If you don't already know the song "Cross My Mind," it's been a pretttyyy
major hit for alt/electronic trio A R I Z O N A
(the band, not the state). What started out as three musicians uploading their music to SoundCloud turned into over 100 million streams on Spotify and an overwhelming amount of die-hard fans. Earlier this month, the group released Cross My Mind: The Mixtape,
which features three brand new versions of the single, one including a feature from pop star Kiiara. We also had the band stop by Baeble HQ for one of our very own Bands + Brews sessions, which will be released in the near future.
The band has compiled a tour video for a live version of the hit "Cross My Mind," which we are premiering here today. The clip shows each member's extremely lovable personality as they perform onstage to thousands of dancing fans, prep backstage, eat, and grocery shop (seriously, I love how much footage of food made it into the final version).
The band told us more about it, "Performing this song live has felt, as an experience for us on stage, the closest to the feeling we associate with why we even do any of this at all. I think it's because of that we get such a special interactive moment with the crowd and each other there. Such a happy thing, to have some of those moments captured and preserved here in the video, so that we can see both sides of the experience that the other doesn't normally get to see so intimately. It's a very fun music video to have made, and to see available publicly now."
The video really shows A R I Z O N A from a different point of view and is a real treat for the fans. At times you almost feel as though you're personally on tour with them, and you can feel just how positive their energy is. If you haven't listened to their debut album Gallery
yet, it's out now. Also catch them on tour
