For this week's Throwback Thursday, we dug up an exclusive session and interview with Childish Gambino
, back when the amazingly talented artist was fresh off his debut record, 2011's Camp
. If you don't know about Glover's music, you might still know him from either his gut-busting standup routines or from his acting roles on shows like the dearly missed cult-classic Community
(#sixseasonsandamovie). With an eclectic artistic background like that, it's probably safe to say that Glover may be one of the most talented people working in the entertainment biz today, putting out hit tracks as Gambino while also starring in hit movies and TV shows.
In honor of both Gambino's newly-announced third album/project, Pharos
, as well as Glover's upcoming FX TV show Atlanta
, we thought it'd be fun to look back to when Glover thought he'd have trouble breaking into the rap game because he sounded "like Milhouse rapping." As we all know now, Glover's done pretty well for himself as Gambino, and he clearly has a lot more good music in store. Check out the exclusive Baeble session with Childish Gambino right here.
