A couple years ago, Baeble Music was invited to capture the magic at Cutty Sark's first ever Cutty Sark Presents Series at Brooklyn Bowl. One of the bands playing that night was the Brooklyn indie rock band, Widowspeak. Playing songs from all three of their albums, including "Gun Shy," "All Yours," and "Perennials," the band captivated the audience with their mystical, introspective sound. Lead singer Molly Hamilton's sweet, whispery vocals blend with spacey guitars and folksy harmonica interjections to create a dazzling dreamscape.

Tomorrow, Widowspeak's fourth album, Expect the Best, is dropping via Captured Tracks. The album has been described as their "heaviest album to date," so it will definitely be interesting to compare this throwback performance to tomorrow's release. The band will also be headlining a tour this fall. Until then, you can satiate your Widowspeak cravings with their 2015 performance, sponsored by Cutty Sark and filmed by Baeble.
