Beloved indie rock band Big Thief just premiered the new song "Solar Pilgrim" from Twain, the project of Mt. Davidson, and trust me, you're going to come for the former and stay for the latter. It's perfectly clear why Big Thief would describe Twain as "a voice for the ineffable that must be heard." Reminiscent of Jeff Buckley, his voice wavers over a wildly romantic guitar progression. Like Twain's career, the song is young, but it's filled with soul and has instantly become timeless. Other artists like Dr. Dog and The Head and The Heart weighed in with their opinion, saying "amazing" and "his words and presence are hard to deny." The song is off Twain's upcoming album Rare Feeling which is set to drop on October 20th via Kneeled Scales.
