Mumford And Sons Find Their Inner Boy Band On Jimmy Kimmel

It's no secret that Mumford & Sons can make fun of themselves. When they dropped the video for "Hopeless Wanderer" a couple years ago, it lampooned all of the stereotypes of the band for which their haters mock them. And last night, they stopped by Jimmy Kimmel to do a hilarious sketch exploring their "original roots" as a boy band called Mumtown. It's got all of the touchstones of 90s boy bands...abysmal fashion choices, a white dude rocking really unfortunate dreads, and lyrics that make almost no sense. To Marcus Mumford's credit, he is way better at bad 90s boy band dancing than anyone in 2015 has any right to be.

And be sure to check out our amazing concert from Mumford's actual early days below.
