Coheed and Cambria's video for their song "You Got Spirit, Kid" takes oft-used tropes and turns them on their heads. The band rallies against the jocks when one of their own has his clothes stolen while in the gym showers, but they go a bit further than most would; they drug the cheerleaders with pot brownies, then they shut the lacrosse players in the locker room and gas them. It sounds a lot less funny and more horrible than it is, I promise.
After an impromptu concert in the gym, the band is confronted by a policeman who tells them what we have all been thinking throughout the video - I won't say more than that, but the moment is perfect and laugh-out-loud funny. The vibe of the video is carefree and self-aware, reflected in the message the band projects on their gym wall and sings over and over in their song; "NOBODY GIVES A FUCK WHO YOU ARE."
