    1. "River Styx" - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Beat the Devil's Tattoo
"A favorite of mine since day one. Their new record is in my opinion the best yet with this being my current track of choice."

    2. "Kowalski" - Primal Scream - Vanishing Point
"The first time I heard this it changed my idea of what music could be. I felt sonically inferior and hope to one day make a record this cool."

    3. "Island" - Hopewell - Good Good Desperation
"These guys are newish friends. Probably the best use of two drummers."

    4. "Science Killer" - Black Angels - Directions To See A Ghost
"My favorite song off their last record, can't wait for the next one."

    5. "If I Were With Her Now" - Spiritualized - Lazer Guided Melodies
"This band really got me back into playing music. I thought I was going to be a fine/graphic artist. Then the double whammy of Spiritualized and My Bloody Valentine."

    6. "Paradise Circus" - Massive Attack - Heligoland
"Always the best sounding/produced records, and this time they got Hope Sandoval."

    7. "Cheap and Cheerful" - The Kills - Midnight Boom
"It's amazing what two people and a drum machine can do."

    8. "Ayisha Abyss" - Serena-Maneesh - Serena-Maneesh 2
"Emil is possibly the loveliest person in rock 'n' roll. I love how this song tacks it's time, great use of noise."

    9. "Vaporizer" - Lupine Howl - Vaporizer
"Too bad these guys didn't keep this going. Cool sounds and one of the best rhythm sections out there."

    10. "The Sun, The Sea" - The Verve - A Storm in Heaven
"Great bass lines, heavy pretty guitars and a whacked out singer. Who could ask for more?"
