    After the success of new festivals like All Points West, we're thinking recent efforts at annual music gatherings are going to sprout and blow up left and right in the coming year. Even if they are relatively unknown or small. Especially if they are trying to take a stab at "the establishment." However, the goal here is clear: have fun, fun, fun. Austin is proud to bring back an underdog in the festival landscape, called Fun Fun Fun Fest. in early November.

    Founded in 2006, FFF08 is aimed at putting punk rock legends up alongside indie buzz and hip/hop DJ acts, for a whole lot of, you guessed it, "fun." The fest is set in Waterloo Park in Austin, made truly "urban" in it's proximity to the downtown area. The fest prides itself in it's location, allowing it's attendees to get "a burger from Spider House, some Brisket from Lamberts, a beer from a Club de Ville bartender, a pair of vintage boots from Big Rig, and T-shirt from their favorite band." Sounds pretty sweet.
