For this week's Throwback Thursday, we revisit an exclusive interview and unplugged performance with then fresh-faced indie-pop band Two Door Cinema Club. The Northern Ireland-bred band are currently getting ready to release their third album, Gameshow, and are also back on the road getting people hyped for the release. But before Alex Trimble, Kevin Baird, and Sam Halliday became the poster band for hipster dance parties the world over, we talked to the trio when they had just released their debut album, 2010's Tourist History.

Talking about how they had "no support" when they first started and took a risk by pursuing a career in music, the band has clearly come a long way since their humble beginnings. It's great to see how much success the trio has had since they sat down with us, and we're looking forward to hearing Gameshow, out October 14. Check out the exclusive performance and interview right here, and the band also recently played Bonnaroo back in June, which we covered pretty thoroughly, so check that out as well!
