As Woodstock celebrates an anniversary, one of it's most legendary acts was almost arrested by police in the pouring rain as he wandered through a New Jersey homeowners yard a few weeks ago. Who was it? We'll give you a hint, the rain was blowin' in the wind...

Police were alerted that a strange man in two hooded raincoats, sweatpants and boots was wandering around a Long Branch neighborhood, looking at a front yard 'For Sale' sign. A young police officer responded by questioning the man, who was carrying no identification and acting "suspiciously." When he told the officer who he was, she didn't believe him. When he told her he was on tour with Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp, she really didn't believe him. It was only after taking him to the "hotel on the ocean" where he claimed he was staying that several large tourbuses confirmed: she'd just breifly detained an incognito Bob Dylan.

The occurance was odd, but not unlike the quixotic Dylan, who is well known for disguising himself in public (if only in appearances). Dylan wrapped up the tour last night, and will resume playing in October.
