The new song "Promises" from singer-songwriter ENTRANCE, AKA Guy Blakeslee, is comparable with so many different artists that it's almost dizzying. When listening closely, you can hear melodic moments reminiscent of The Killers or Patti Smith, all over a bed of Father John Misty-esque acoustic guitar. "Promises" is the title track off of his upcoming EP, which will be out on September 16 via Thrill Jockey and we can expect a full-length record early 2017. If you like what you hear, you can catch him live in New York City, where he'll be playing two shows on 9/27 at Union Pool and 9/28 at Mercury Lounge. He recently opened for Beach House and Father John Misty, so it's pretty safe to say he puts on a good show.
