Fifth Harmony's video for "Angel" proves yet again that they will do just fine as a four-piece. The video for their most recent single is a sexy, technicolor trip. The majority of the video showcases the girls in the tiny, trendy outfits typical of 5H, with color-blocked rooms and VSCO-ish images of a beach and a chainlink fence strobed intermittently.
The video is in a lot of ways pretty bare-bones. There's no extravagant choreography, no storyline, no acting. Just the girls, the song, and at times, a pretty fancy red car. Yet after watching the video, you'll feel like you just had a pretty good (or bad, depending on how you feel about strobe lights) trip. What the video
does have is a clear message that Fifth Harmony girls are no longer the middle schoolers we saw audition for
The X Factor back in 2012. They've experienced a lot in the past 5 years. World tours, hit singles, losing a member. But the sheer amount of sass in this video shows they're here to stay, and they are certainly no angels.
