Beirut has to be one of those "bands least likely" when it comes to their current indie icon status. They've genuinely transcended "indie" pop without having a big crossover hit, and it's still weird to think about the Beirut that exists now as the Beirut that made Gulag Orkestar. Don't get me wrong; I've always loved Beirut, but I never suspected this transition to accessible indie dad rock but here we are. The band's new record No No No is out soon and Zach Condon & co. stopped by Seth Meyers to play a tranquil rendition of the album's title track.
