Black Whales have a breezy, psych-pop sensibility that would fit in nicely next to all of the easy going guitar work drifting out of Philadelphia these days. Kurt Vile, Dr. Dog, The War on Drugs; if you dig such brotherly love creations it might be worth gazing West to Seattle, where Black Whales call home. The band just finished work on their forthcoming album, Through The Prism, Gently, produced by a collection of notable West Coast audio masters (Eric Corson, Richard Swift, and Mark Rains). Though the album won't see the light of day until November 11th, we've got a first spin of the band's single "The Warm Parade" available to y'all. Enjoy.
