Nashville-based group Elliot Root are set to release their debut full length Conjure, on August 25th via E.R. Recordings/Thirty Tigers, which is the follow up to their Thoughts From Yesterday and II EPs. As they gear up for the album release, we're premiering a brand new single right here, entitled "Stay." With vocal melodies reminiscent of John Legend, it's an explosive piano ballad that is sure to tug at your heartstrings. Frontman Scott Krueger told us a bit about it, "I think 'Stay' has a universal type of feel, it's a familiar song lyrically. It means something quite personal to me, but I feel like it could be interpreted in different ways. I would love for it to mean something unique to each person who hears it."

Check out the song, interpret it for yourself, and make sure you grab a copy of Conjure when it's out on August 25th, because this is a promising group with songs that almost everyone can relate to.
