When Kanye West rapped "Eatin' Asian pussy, all I need was sweet and sour sauce", it was one vulgar/clever verse in an entire song about sex. In their video for "Asian Girlz", Summerland Tour wannabes Days Above Ground take things to another level by referencing every single Asian, "yellow fever" stereotype possible. The band claims the tune is "endearing & submissive" and that "WE ARE NOT RACIST, HAHA! I mean, look at our band, its multicultural!! The guy in the bow-tie, our cutie bass player, was born in Indonesia, and he steals the show!!" Yeah, that totally makes this incredibly racist song acceptable... Also, why is the band in a birdcage before jumping into "their Asian girl's" bathtub in a horrible LIT-Pam Anderson redux? And what kind of band has two vocalists who don't play instruments but sound exactly alike?! It's a shame the song is so misguided, because the model in the video happens to be smokin' hot.
