Earlier this year, The Kills reached out to fans in hopes to find 15 willing participants to get tattoos inspired by their latest album, Ash & Ice. In addition to an image of a martini glass and a volcano, the album's artwork features 15 symbols. Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart wrote, "We will be there. We will film it. We will photograph it. We will pay for it."

Low and behold, 15 devoted Kills fans showed up at the Shamrock Social Club Inc. in LA ready to get tatted. The Kills showed their final product and shared the short film which is set to their song "Hard Habit To Break."

In celebration of a lifelong, often times questionable commitment to music, we rounded up some of the best and some of the unconscionably bad.
