"Get it Real Get it Right" off of Sufjan Stevens'
album The Age of Adz
has found a home on its own video, and it's chock full of sand art, glitter, construction paper, shirt buttons, and a veritable assortment of other arts and crafts relics. Video and song work together create a 5 minute homage to creativity. The stop-motion animation alone is innovative enough to stand alone, but hearing the melodic sounds of Sufjan Stevens over the footage only complements the craft. Or is it the other way around? Either way, it's safe to say that they enhance one another, and create a crudely rendered, but well-thought out montage of what Sufjan's brain might actually look.
