Fashion photographer Todd Cole's newest music video for Kurt Vile's
"Baby's Arms" was shot entirely on a cell phone for the Windows Phone
Me music video series. It's hardly noticeable that the video was shot with a cell phone, the camera barely shakes and is captures the kind of low budget aesthetic that people pay for with high end cameras. Shot in the form of a documentary, Cole follows a young couple in East L.A, shooting moments of their everyday life. The two languidly go about their day biking, tagging brick walls, cooking, and idly lying in harmony with the quiet loveliness of Vile's song. It really makes us wonder, are the days of big budget music video productions nearing extinction?
