Pharrell has been producing music for over 20 years now, and his past few months have been as active as ever. Despite recently getting involved in a Seussian lawsuit about whether his I Am Other Entertainment company sounds too similar with will.i.am's (who knows a thing or two about plagiarism) trademarked phrase, Pharrell has still been very busy. Here's a look at what the legendary producer has been up to:
March- "Blurred Lines" Music Video
Be warned, this video is definitely NSFW. Looking as smooth as ever, the Neptunes man is joined by Robin Thicke and T.I. as they playfully flirt with some young, gorgeous models in this video that is proof of the fact that Robin Thicke is one very, very fortunate guy.
April- "Get Lucky" with Daft Punk
By far the biggest song of the summer, you've already heard this disco jam a few thousand times since its release. Be sure to check out his other contribution to Random Access Memories, the equally funky "Lose Yourself to Dance".
May- "Happy" for Despicable Me 2 Soundtrack
This hand-clap-featuring old-school soul song for the animated movie Despicable Me 2 is catchy enough to stay in your head all summer without the help of any minions. Williams composed the original soundtrack for the film, as well as for the original Despicable Me.
June- "Feds Watching" with 2 Chainz
July- "ATM Jam" with Azealia Banks
While most of his work says "featuring Pharrell Williams", I firmly believe that Williams is the brains behind anything he gets involved with.
