Yesterday, Britt Daniel Spoon paid a visit to BBC Radio 6 to offer a live session with acoustic renditions of "Rent I Pay" and "Rainy Taxi". These songs are from their upcoming LP They Want My Soul, their first new album in four years. This is their most recent stop since performing on Jimmy Kimmel and Governors Ball. Daniel also shares a little insight about the inspiration behind the new album.

If you are a frequent visitor of record stores you should pre-order and take part in the band's Vinyl Gratification program. Starting July 15th, limited edition 10-inch vinyls featuring three pre-release songs from the LP will be available to anyone who pre-orders the album from one of the 150 participating stores. On August 5th just bring your receipt back and you will get the 180-gram white vinyl copy of the full LP.

They Want My Soul will be released August 5th via Loma Vista and you can digitally pre-order it here.
