Today's edition of Throwback Thursday brings what we might consider to be the greatest music video of all time. Danish musician/producer Tommy Seebach never could have imagined the viral wave his work would form 30 years in the future. Over the past few years, his magically absurd music video for "Apache" has been borrowed and mashed with countless songs. But after seeing the original recently shared on Facebook, I thought we'd reintroduce Tommy and his crazy cool smile and hip shake.

The video has been paired with a wide range of songs from Mogwai's "The Sun Smells Too Loud" to Air's "Kelly Watch the Stars". We, being purists at heart, are quite fond of the original. BUT this edit against FOALS "Providence" is pretty epic.

We were intrigued by the crazy-eyed, Danish Indian so we explored deeper into his musical catalog. It turns out Seebach was a hell of a composer, and way ahead of his time. A lot of his songs have a Clint Mansell film score vibe. Listen to the intriguingly titled "Bubble Sex".

It was sad to find out that Seebach died back in 2003, but it's pretty awesome to see his legacy live on through music video tributes.
