Airplanes, Backup Dancers, and Cloud-talk: B.o.B at the Highline Ballroom

You may have some preconceptions about pop artist/rapper B.o.B. -- that he's soft, that he's the face of commercial rap, that Tyler, the Creator may or may not hate him -- but at least the dude has fun. With songs mostly about cute girls, and going nuts and having a good time, only a cynic could hate this guy. And on Sunday night, in an installment of Myspace's Secret Shows Brought to You by the Makers of Trojan Charged: Orgasmic Pleasure, B.o.B brought some unabashedly high energy to New York City's Highline Ballroom.

Bobby Ray -- hailed by his DJ as the only rapper who plays guitar and piano (unconfirmed) -- pumped through his hits as well as some tracks off his newest album Strange Clouds while spewing water into the crowd, ripping his shirt off, and dirty dancing with his backup dancers. Really, the only down time in the set was when he stopped the show to do a quick photoshoot with the crowd. After giving his fans what they wanted with Bruno and Hayley-less versions of "Nothin' On You" and "Airplanes," B.o.B injected good vibes one last time by performing "So Good" for his encore. And ever the promoter, B.o.B sent the crowd off with one final Trojan plug, shouting, "Remember to always wrap it up!" If only every show we went to ended with an artist screaming that at us.

Check out the video for "So Good" below.
