The 3-CD compilation album from Greyday Records Live From Nowhere Near You: Volume Two, following the first installment in 2003, was put together by Kevin Moyer for the charity Outside In as a way to raise money for homeless youth. But today, Greyday Records is making a charitable donation to ears everywhere by streaming all three parts and 65 tracks of the benefit concept CD on the web.

Live From Nowhere Near You: Volume Two is a welcome addition to the hefty compilation albums of late, including Rave on Buddy Holly and Red Hot + Rio 2. The featured artists could probably put on a stellar festival if they wanted to, the living one's at least. Elliott Smith (feautring an unreleased track written in his high school years, re-recorded in 1996), Modest Mouse, The Shins' James Mercer, Bright Eyes, Wilco, Daniel Johnston, The Helio Sequence, The Strokes' Julian Casablancas and Fabrizio Moretti, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, and The Decemberists' Chris Funk and John Moen, are only some of the names of the lot. The full track listing is posted below. Listen to it in its entirety by clicking here.
