If there's anything New Yorkers love more than complaining about the city, it's bragging about it. This only extends when we talk about music. It's no secret that New York is a central hub of the music world, where so many of our favorite artists have emerged. While home to many of the established greats, it's also the best place to find exciting and new ones to watch.

This is exactly what Glassnote Records emphasizes with their upcoming Noteworthy compilation series, in honor of their 10th Anniversary. The first of these complications, Noteworthy 01, is to be released on July 28th, with a showcase scheduled for August 16th at Union Pool. Featuring eight New York City based bands, the compilation will surely be a love letter to New York's music scene.

Glassnote Founder & CEO Daniel Glass confirms this saying, "In Celebration of our 10th Anniversary, we are excited to support bands that call New York City home. Glassnote is based here and it's important that we continue to support our music community and give artists the platform to succeed." This is definitely a message we can get behind.

The complete list of bands featured on Noteworthy 01 are as follows: Plain Dog, Petite League, Grim Streaker, Your Dog, Blasteroid, Native Sun, the 94 Knicks and THICK. Each band has their own unique style and influences, coming together to create one New York City Soundtrack that we can't wait to jam out to.
