Last month, we were swept away by Colorado folk singer-songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov's
single called "Saint Valentine"
. Hearing his traditional folk approach was a solemn reminder of where the genre's craze originated, and it simultaneously acted as a therapeutic treat taking us away from the hodgepodge of sounds we consume daily. We enjoyed his recently released LP, The Weatherman
so much that we invited him to stop by the Baeble HQ to sing us a few in person.
Earlier this afternoon Gregory and his three-man crew of musicians unloaded their gear into our West Village pad and released the sonic potion we've grown so fond of. Check out a few snapshots from the session, and be sure to stay tuned for the full video to be posted.
