Cory Chisel and the Wanderering Sons Drift Through Webster Hall, Wow Crowd, and Disappear Into the Night

Cory Chisel and the Wanderering Sons brought their vagabond brand of folksy rock to the NYC Webster Hall, for the concert venue cum night club cum corporate rental space's most soulful night since their most recent Electric Foam Party. Hailing from Appleton, Wisconsin, the band, currently comprised of Cory and Adriel Harris, is promoting its most recent installment, Old Believers. The wistful crooners seem to exist in a perpetual nostalgia, for an America before drive-through Starbucks and Kardashian spawn. They have an open-road, hitch-hiker quality that's particularly compelling amidst the banality of this decade's auto-tuned soundscape. Check out some photos from the show.
