After producing Taylor Bennett's hit single "Neon Lights" feat. Lil Yachty & Supa Bwe, ZiG
is out with their follow up single, "Paris." Spoiler alert: it's fucking awesome. Featuring Nic Hanson on vocals, "Paris" is just about as nostalgic as it gets, giving off some serious old school Backstreet Boys vibes. The oozing nostalgia doesn't mean I won't be listening to it every day for the next month, though, because it's also incredibly energetic. Sitting still while listening is nearly impossible.
"'Paris' is really about having the courage to get rid of negative people around you even if they are the closest ones to you. This song was inspired by mistakes we have personally made, and not letting go when all signs have pointed to doing just that," ZiG said of the song. ZiG is made up of Jonathan Zighelboim, Jon Schneider, Marlon Fischer, Nic Hanson, Kaileigh Grande, Tarion Taylor, Elia Esperanza, Quintin Zoto, Reggie Thomas Jr., and Jake Strauss, who are all classically trained NYU graduates. After this incredible track, I've got a feeling that we'll be seeing a lot more of ZiG in the future.
