"Groupie Love" and "Summer Bummer" are the latest singles and now two of three collaborations with A$AP Rocky off Lana Del Rey's upcoming album Lust For Life. This isn't the first time Lana and Rocky have collaborated on a project together, having played Jackie and John F Kennedy respectively in the video for "National Anthem" back in 2012. Now, instead of the Hamptons and "Happy Birthdays", the two are pairing up again for drinks at the bar and romance on tour. Whether "Groupie Love" is meant to have any subtle nods to the G-Unit oldie by the same name, I can't say, but it certainly has a different tone to it (more tender attraction and less ‘bitch I'm rich, suck my dick').

It's an interesting collaboration that combines Lana's whisper close vocals with Rocky's ear for rhythmic craft and offbeat wordplay. As different as their genres are, the tools they brought to the table with this song definitely make for an interesting dynamic, both in contrast and compliment.

Also listen to "Summer Bummer," which features Playboi Carti as well:
