Amsterdam-based singer/songwriter, Pip Blom, is the queen of DIY. She writes, records, and releases her own indie-pop music that has a flare of fuzz and haze. When Pip was 15, she started playing a three-string Loog guitar and wrote 13 songs, recorded them and released them under the name Short Stories.
She recently released a single called "Hours" and it's an insight into a person who is seeking something more while watching life pass them by. The track has a steady guitar riff sounds like something Courtney Barnett would put together. "Times slipping away, Im growing older than I want to be," explains Blom in this dark, scratchy track.
As of July 1st, "Hours" and Pip Blom's other single, "Truth" are released as a 7" via Norwich-based label Grunt Grunt A Go Go.
