Father John Misty Covered Cat Stevens For The Hal Ashby Story

    Twenty-six years after his death, Hal Ashby — director of classics like Harold and Maude and Coming Home, known just as well for his rebellious attitude and erratic behavior — will be getting his own documentary, and it will apparently be accompanied by one hell of a soundtrack. Today Aquarium Drunkard shared a download of a track recorded for the film — Father John Misty's cover of Cat Stevens' "Trouble", which was originally recorded for Harold and Maude. Although little is known about the film's soundtrack, we might want to prepare for additional enamoring covers as Ashby's life included a chapter where he followed The Rolling Stones on tour, during which he overdosed prior to one of their shows.
