Just as promised, Sigur Ros have released the latest video in their "Mystery Film Experiment Series" which has featured videos from twelve different directors now. For their video, "Valtari" it's director Ingibjorg Birgisdottir's turn. The video captures a single time-lapsed shot of a snowy mountainside as the weather churns and figures appear along it's ridge. At first it may seem like the video would not be very engaging but with the song's emotionally driven melody and gradual build, it's surprisingly captivating. The figures that appear flash lights at the camera (perhaps in morse code?) before releasing lanterns into the wintery night.
