In early 2014, Weezer
returned to the studio and reunited with Ric Ocasek, who produced their debut album back in 1994. While recording, the band has been releasing short previews of songs from the upcoming album in a Youtube series creatively titled "#weezerwednesday." The most recent preview uploaded to their page was "Ain't Got Nobody," a drum-driven rock song. But keeping in the same vein as other song previews, the video is anything but pure rock-and-roll. The black-and-white clip includes fuzzy camera work, muffled voiceovers and a disjointed musical introduction, which creates a pretty confusing clip, but nonetheless keeps us excited for whats to come.
Besides recording their ninth studio album, Weezer is making some festival stops this summer. Check out their full schedule here
